How long does onboarding take?
Most clinics go from contract signing to go-live in two to four weeks. Larger facilities with extensive historical data take four to eight weeks. We handle the migration of your existing client list, so your team can focus on training.
Is the platform POPIA compliant?
Yes. Data is hosted in South African data centres, encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access control and full audit logs. An information security pack is available on request.
Do we need to buy Polar devices separately?
No. Polar devices are provisioned as part of onboarding, typically as a shared pool that scales to your bed count. Pricing covers the devices, replacements and the integration, so you never deal with Polar directly.
Does WalkToFreedom support clinics with multiple sites?
Yes, multi-facility support is a first-class feature. Staff can switch facilities on sign-in, patients transfer between sites, and billing rolls up to the parent organisation.
Can we trial it before committing?
Yes. After a tailored demo, we set up a 30-day proof of concept on a single ward or programme with a couple of staff. You decide afterwards whether to roll out across the clinic. There is no long-term lock-in.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It is your data. On termination, we provide a full export of patient records, billing history, dispensing logs and biometric data in standard formats within 14 days, then permanently delete it from our systems.
